Our Worship
Christ United Methodist Church offers three worship services each Sunday as well as other worship venues throughout the week where people come together to praise the Lord, pray, sing and hear great music, present tithes and offerings and be inspired by messages of hope and joy.
The regular Sunday morning worship services start at 8:15am, 9:45am and 11am. The 8:15am service blends traditional and modern worship elements. It is led by the Celebration Choir and the Praise Team. The 9:45am and 11am services are contemporary and modern. They are led by the Praise Team. A nursery is available during all services for infants and toddlers.
The 8:15 am service and the 11 am service have a 'Children's Time' where all children are invited forward for a story. After the story, children ages 3 through Pre-K are dismissed to Enrichment in the Education Wing. Children in grades K-2 are dismissed to Junior Church in the Education Wing. All other children, or any children not desiring to go to class may return to their seats in the sanctuary. The 9:45 am service does NOT have a Children's Time or a time for your children to be dismissed. All children may either remain in the service the entire time or attend Children's Sunday School from 9:45 - 10:30 am. Note: all children must be picked up from Enrichment, Jr. Church or Sunday School immediately after each service.
Christ United Methodist Church offers several special services throughout the year that correspond with the Church calendar: for example, Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, World Communion Sunday, etc. All of the services are led by the pastoral staff and accompanied by the Celebration Choir, Praise Band, and a host of other talented persons.
